Supporting Our Medical Community With Emergency Medical Tents
We can’t say enough about the hospital personnel, caregivers, support staff, administration, and preparedness teams that are all stressed by the challenges of a prolonged response to COVID-19. With personal protective gear ranging from N-95 Masks to powered air purifying respirators and even hand sanitizer being so scarce, those on the front lines need all of our help with food donations for long shifts, blood donation, and charity donations that support hospitals. At A to Z Party Rental we are doing our part to support these teams with all of the above as well as providing them with a safe environment in which to perform their important work.
Our teams are quickly deploying medical screening tents that help hospitals and the CDC perform drive-thru screening and testing, as well as emergency medical tents that expand hospital bed capacity in a matter of hours. These makeshift hospital environments come complete with anti-slip floor design that also absorbs liquids such as blood. Smaller tents made of easy-care PVC are also deployed as decontamination cabins that create a secure interior unit within the emergency tent for hazardous handling. Inside, patient privacy is ensured through the use of retractable pipe and drape that creates separate patient rooms and aids in the prevention of spread. While outside we are creating alternative destinations for screening locations that move visitors seeking testing away from the hospitals, reduce crowding and protect patients and personnel.
The coming together of our events community to fight this pandemic together has been one positive that we have been humbled to witness. Our partnerships with event rental providers throughout the Mid-Atlantic have been tremendously helpful in providing the immediate response that these medical professionals and their patients so desperately need. Because of these longstanding relationships, we have been able to provide support from Virginia to New Jersey and all markets in between.
